A landscape you can hear.

Not a stage placed in nature. A composition written with it.

Across lava fields, thermal chambers and a decommissioned coastal observatory, artists shape light and sound around Iceland’s living geology.

STUDY / 01
THE ASSEMBLY / AN OPEN SYSTEM

Listen with the entire body.

SILFRA places artists and audiences inside active environments. Sound travels through concrete, water, air and volcanic stone.

01

Site first

Every work is composed for the acoustic, geological and social character of its location.

02

Low impact

Small audiences, shared transport, renewable power and a leave-no-trace field protocol.

03

Deep time

Performances unfold slowly, from daylight into darkness, without overlapping headline sets.

PROGRAMME / 72 HOURS

Three sites.
One sequence.

Each day begins in Reykjavík and moves outward. No clashes. No rushing between stages. Follow the work as a single evolving composition.
